Job Purpose:

The Account Coordinator (AC) is an important position within the organization. The AC has an important role in fulfilling the day-to-day activities relating to accomplishing SAS team tasks and intended outcomes.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • With a passionate understanding of and commitment to Wide Open Thinking, world class work and far reaching results, the AC supports the SAS team through their assigned accounts to meet the corporate target
  • Bills a minimum of 1600 hours annually to active client projects
    • Completes and distributes Action Reports for client and/or internal status meetings
    • Responds and delivers client and internal requests in a service oriented manner
    • Coordinates and manages the activities necessary to meet the needs of assigned projects
    • Develop and manage media lists for client announcements and media outreach
    • Perform media tracking and analysis for clients
    • Write press backgrounders and media pitches, client reports and planning documents
    • Assist in coordination client event activations, develop briefing materials
    • Manage social media profiles, including posting daily updates and tracking engagement
    • Create and maintaining editorial calendars for clients
    • Research industry trends and staying up-to-date on current events and news
    • Draft copy for a variety of marketing materials
    • Support the creation of strategic positioning and messaging documents
    • Attend and take notes at internal and client meetings
    • Support SAS team with additional tasks as needed
    • May serve on multiple client teams

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an environment of ambiguity
  • Strong computer skills
  • Mastery level skill in all Microsoft software with an emphasis on PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop knowledge on key industry issues
