We're looking for a Content Development Intern who’s excited to join our diverse, creative, high-performing team that helps transform healthcare by creating content to support the automation of care delivery.

As a Bright.md Content Development Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:* Collaborate with a diverse and creative team in our downtown office, supporting the development of content that is truly changing the way that healthcare is delivered* Automate the delivery of care by creating and refining medical algorithms * Support providers with a more thorough, evidence-based understanding of their patients’ conditions* Help patients better understand their conditions and treatment

Skills & Requirements

To do well in this position, you'll need to be able to review and provide support in developing content that engages both patients and clinicians. You’ll need to be able to work with a software development team to ensure that our content is structured in a way that works with our software platform. You should enjoy the challenge of learning new things quickly and be able to think critically about how we use content to enable high-quality care and provide delightful user experiences.

For this position, we’re looking for someone with:* Impeccable attention to detail* The ability to review and edit high-quality content based on structured input from subject matter experts* Outstanding interpersonal skills and verbal communication* Excellent task management skills* A strong sense of empathy and compassion for the patient experience of care

These skills and experience (or their equivalent) aren’t required, but will help:

* Familiarity with medical literature and the ability to translate complex medical and scientific concepts into easy-to-understand language* Performing basic coding (particularly using Python, Javascript, HTML) * Using a version control system like Github* Interest in writing content for healthcare consumers and providers
