The Coordinator, Community Management is a key member of FX’s social media department, directly engaging with fans on network and show social media pages. FX currently manages over 120 social networking profiles supporting FX, FXX, FXM and the networks’ suite of original programming on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, Snapchat, YouTube and Google+. The coordinator will reach fans on prioritized platforms for both show and network level accounts. 


The coordinator will be an expert in conversational social media interaction. They must be comfortable speaking each platform’s unique language while seamlessly integrating memes and inside references into interactions with fans. The coordinator must be a clever writer, a quick thinker, always entertaining and able to think like a fan. 



  • Live tweet FX & FXX Original Shows
  • Create engaging conversations on social platforms that encourage fans to react
  • Moderate comments on platforms like Facebook & YouTube
  • Participate in relevant trending conversations
  • Monitor & engage with talent social media posts
  • Develop influencer lists for select FX programming and build relationships
  • Develop copy and publish creative content to social platforms in conjunction with social media managers & producers
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and develop plans to generate conversation around select initiatives



  • Excellent writing ability
  • Ability to communicate in creative and entertaining way on social platforms
  • Strong editorial judgment, able to make decisions on which content to engage with on a regular basis
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with a wide variety of personalities
  • Must possess professionalism and confidence when dealing with show producers and talent via phone or in-person
  • Must be autonomous and decisive, able to work under tight deadlines, prioritize assignments, work in a very fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members and be able to problem solve and innovate in the digital space
  • College degree, BA or BS Preferred
  • 1-2 years social media or marketing experience preferred
