This position will act as day-to-day support to the ESPN CMS CreativeWorks team with multiple functions, including assisting managers with sales opportunities and executions as well as various administrative duties.


Reports to the Associate Director,  CreativeWorks and collaborates with a complete team of CreativeWorks project managers to provide support in creating customized opportunities for ad sales across all mediums (TV, digital/mobile, print, events) and regions

Assists in response to RFPs with development and creation of presentations and proposals for clients

Assists in project management of sold campaigns by developing relationships with both internal ESPN CMS and external agencies and clients

Liaison with agencies and clients to ensure timely creative asset development, approval and adherence to production timelines

Provides additional dedicated support for ESPN The Magazine sales efforts, manages added-value programs and communication with editorial staff  

Responsible for pre-launch and back end management of digital/social consumer promotions, including management of prize fulfillment and reporting of campaign metrics and preparing campaign wrap-up decks

Point person for maintaining departmental budget tracking records , invoice processing, accounts payable and bill backs


Basic Qualifications

Minimum 1 year previous experience in media sales industry/or integrated marketing

Proficient understanding of ad sales/integrated marketing process

Strong computer skills and expertise with Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint


Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge and understanding of sports and sports business

Strong understanding of the ESPN brand and the marketing position

Proven collaborator, ability to work with cross-functional teams and take direction where needed

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a highly pressurized environment, holds self and others accountable to quality, on-time delivery

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, timely response to email communication is a must

Strategic and creative thinker

Possess great organizational skills and have proven track record for following through on projects and creating new opportunities

Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must 


Required Education

BA/BS Degree


Preferred Education 

Degree in communications, marketing, or related major preferred
