   Northwest Permanente, P.C. (NWP) is a self-governed (physician led), multi-specialty group of over 1500 physicians, surgeons, and clinicians, caring for over 600,000 members in Oregon and Southwest Washington. NWP's Brand, Communications & External Affairs team is currently seeking a Designer and Digital Content Producer who will be responsible for managing the content strategy and production needs of the organization while maintaining the integrity of the Northwest Permanente brand. Primary responsibilities for this role include design, consultation, production, management, and oversight of multimedia content. This position will also be responsible for the management of multiple Northwest Permanente channels including websites, email campaigns, and additional digital applications or systems as needed. The Northwest Permanente Brand, Communications & External Affairs team is a small but mighty team that is steadily evolving in scope and impact.    Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions 
    
   Produce multimedia content for NWP, as well as for executive leadership communications programs and projects, including videos (concepting, shooting, editing); content for weekly and monthly newsletters, websites and other forms of internal and external communications to support the region’s strategic objectives.  Ensure final placement of materials, including distribution, and provide miscellaneous follow-up. 
   Manage NWP’s intranet, external website, and mobile app. Ensure integrity, timeliness and accuracy of site content. Ensure that sites and systems are appropriately maintained and monitor storage needs.  Interface with NWP desktop support, KPIT or outside contractors to resolve technical issues. 
   Implement robust content strategy to support the learning, information and communication needs of NWP physicians and staff. Proactively outreach to internal business leads to prompt content review and to create awareness of content gaps or opportunities. 
   Design and produce a full suite of core brand assets and collateral for digital and print (e.g., newsletters, brochures, infographics, email campaigns, web pages, mobile app content), ensuring alignment with Northwest Permanente and Permanente Medicine brand guidelines. 
   Manage or triage internal client design requests and provide consultation on design needs. 
   Manage and routinely evaluate external contractor and vendor relationships and performance. 
   Track analytics for all content and analyze web trends and formulate plans to optimize website. Implement changes that align with current market and technology. Monitor best practices and trends in digital strategy, recommend and implement new technologies to optimize Northwest Permanente strategic objectives. 
   Other duties as assigned to support the team and the organization’s needs. 
    
   Minimum Education  
    
   Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, Design, or a related field.   
   Minimum Work Experience 
    
   Five (5) years in a related field with three (3) years of graphic design experience; and two (2) years of digital content management and strategy. 
   Solid grasp of typography and graphic design principles 
   Working knowledge of digital interaction design (web, mobile, app etc.) 
   Excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing and editing) 
   Interact comfortably with middle and executive management on communication matters. 
   Excellent skills for planning, organizing, managing time, and setting priorities; ability to meet multiple deadlines 
   Plan, design, and negotiate schedules and deadlines with communication team members and clients 
   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a self-directed manner 
   Excellent analytical, critical thinking and communication skills

   Working knowledge of both PC and Mac platforms; fluency in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator); WordPress; moderate working knowledge of PowerPoint design 
   Ability to write, shoot, and edit video. Knowledge of lighting and sound design for interviews. 
   Demonstrated ability managing technology projects, e.g. site implementation. 
   Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications  
    
   Seven (7) years’ experience in web design (WordPress, HTML, JavaScript, CSS), content management, graphics (image editing, design, photography), and experience in Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud. Some experience in video production and post-production editing. Project management experience and brand activation.
