Description:AARP Oregon is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization focused on helping people 50+ live their best lives. We have over half a million members in Oregon and we work on issues that matter to all Oregonians, such as health care, housing, financial security, livable communities, and caregiving. Last year, we launched “You’ve Earned a Say,” (YEaS) a national conversation to take the debate about the future of Social Security and Medicare out from behind closed doors in Washington and help amplify the voices of everyday Americans on these important topics. This year we are continuing our YEaS outreach and are ramping up for a multi-year financial security campaign, an educational program on frauds and scams, and livable community issues.

The Digital Communications Intern will provide support to AARP Oregon’s communications department by assisting with coordinating media outreach opportunities and strengthening the organization’s web and social media presence.
