Holt International’s Digital Marketing is actively recruiting an intern to join our team. This unpaid internship experience will provide an opportunity to learn more about creating regular, compelling posts for Pinterest and Instagram, as well as tracking likes, comments, shares, follows, etc. It will also provide active learning and participation in creating and implementing a social media calendar, creating compelling posts that drive results, and social media tracking and analytics.
The Social Media Intern (SMI) is an innovative, goal-oriented member of the Creative Services team. Under direction of the Digital Marketing Specialist – Advertising, the SMI will create, optimize and post content to Holt’s social media accounts and then track results. The SMI will also identify ways to improve reach and increase followers on Holt’s social media accounts.
The Social Media Intern (SMI) should have good writing and design skills as well as be knowledgeable about current social media trends and best practices. They should also be able to work on a team and have good organization and planning skills.
Schedule & Timeline:
This is an unpaid internship. Students are expected to work 10-15 hours a week at Holt International’s headquarters in Eugene, OR. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Duration of the internship is 3 months. All pre-placement documentation must be finalized prior to beginning the internship with Holt International. Background checks are required and any associated costs will be covered by Holt International.
