Gamehelper.com Gamehelper.com Seeks Editorial Interns Albany, CA Freelance posting Gamehelper.com is an online gaming magazine and community. We have are in beta and prepping for our official launch this winter and are looking for some fresh faces to flesh out our editorial team. To be clear this internship will be unpaid so this is a great side gig or entry-level opportunity into the games journalism industry. These are not full-time positions. This internship is best for those looking to write on the side and build their resume, create contacts in the industry, gain access to early builds of titles and industry events and ultimately move on to a paid job or stick it out while we build up our revenue stream. Perks include: Access to industry events (PAX, E3, GDC) Free games and paraphernalia Access to titles prior to public release Travel to events Chance to meet your development heroes Requirements: Must be local to the SF Bay Area Have reliable transport and internet connection Must have a reliable laptop (PC or Mac is fine) Be a college student or grad. Willing to commit at least 10 hours per week - that's just two hours per night doing what you already do play games) Photoshop skills are a huge plus Own a digital or video camera (huge plus) Experience Required No prior experience is required.
