Elanguest English Language School is offering placement in an unpaid marketing internship or journalism internship in Malta, with a strong emphasis on online marketing, for a period of 3 months or longer. The position is open to native speakers of English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, or Portuguese, preferably third year marketing students or graduates. Non-native speakers of English should be at least at an intermediate level to facilitate ease of communication in the work environment. The minimum age requirement is 18.
An English-Speaking work environment
Interns will be working in an international, English-speaking work setting, and will receive daily training and mentoring and participate in weekly progress and feedback meetings. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and field knowledge in a constructive community situation. Interns will provide their own transportation, housing, and living expenses.
Certificate and Letter of recommendation
At the end of the internship period, and based upon completion of work requirements, compliance with the rules and regulations of the intern programme, and individual excellence, participants will be issued a personalised Certificate of Attendance and a Letter of Recommendation to assist interns in their future career journey.
For non-native speakers of English, a very attractive English lessons package can be organised if required including a free Business English lesson weekly, focusing on presentations and meetings. We can also offer Elanguest's own student apartments at a reduced rate to interns who wish to utilise them while participating in internships in Malta. These apartments include a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facility shared by a maximum of seven students, and a bedroom shared with one or two other students, with cleaning service provided once per week. Interns are likewise free to find their own housing if preferred.
The location of the placement is on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Interns will have the opportunity to expand their horizons by meeting people from all around the world, and enjoy the convenience of easily accessible local transportation to explore the island. The company location is just a few steps away from the sea.
