The Eugene Ballet Academy (EBA) is seeking an intern to support the marketing efforts to support its non-profit arts organizations. The EBA was founded in 1959 by Doreen Gilday, a native of Canada, and her husband Fred Ditzhazy. They formed a student performing group, Ballet Classique, that became Oregon Ballet Classique, Inc, a non-profit regional ballet company, in 1965. The EBA is the official school for the Eugene Ballet Company.
This opportunity is for the Winter and Spring terms and interns should be available for 5 to 10 hours a week depending on availability and flexibility.
Excellent writing skills, understanding of basic public relations and marketing, experience with nonprofit organizations a plus. Makes deadlines, communicates well, isn't afraid to ask questions or make mistakes.
The successful intern will be involved marketing the new seasons performance and fundraising events:
