About Springfield Public Schools Springfield Public Schools (SPS) is located in the southern end of the beautiful Willamette Valley, just 15 minutes from the University of Oregon campus. Located in the growing town of Springfield, SPS has 25 schools, 1300 employees, and teaches more than 11,000 students. SPS enjoys a partnership with University of Oregon and Lane Community College. Responsibilities: o Design publicity material such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters. o Prepare efficient and effective electronic files for output. o Pay strict attention to details and quality of work. o Know and maintain design standards relative to each project. o Be a member of a design team for the publication of web pages on the Internet and Intranet. o Design and create large vinyl banners. o Create certificates for student and staff recognition. o Work closely with the Springfield Public Schools Graphic Designer Unpaid internship includes many opportunities to design and oversee a variety of publications. Upon successful completion, the candidate will receive a letter of recommendation and portfolio materials. This is an excellent learning opportunity for the right college student to assist in a dynamic marketing and publicity efforts. Interns have flexible hours and work in a pleasant office setting located in the historic SPS administration building.
