The Graphic Designer works within the Marketing department and reports to the Product Marketing Director. Under limited supervision, the Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing a wide range of marketing materials including print advertisements, banner ads, direct mail, landing pages, brochures, trade show graphics, newsletters, HTML emails, videos and more.
Develops, coordinates and maintains digital asset library for the Marketing department, including photo and print production archives. Qualified candidates will have strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
Major Responsibilities/Primary Functions:
* Proven experience in the design and development of rich, engaging, and successful print collateral and web user experiences * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple concepts through words and graphics * Knowledge of marketing principles and design standards * Manage multiple jobs simultaneously * Work with marketing team to meet production deadlines * Prep creative files for delivery to printer * Experience with digital asset management * Create presentation PDFs and PowerPoint decks
* A two or four year degree in graphic design or a related field, or the equivalent in training and experience * Proficiency with Adobe CS Family, Flash and HTML/CSS * Familiarity with the Macintosh platform * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience with GUI and User Experience design (Interactive Desktop and Mobile) a plus * Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team * Experience designing for a B2B technology company a plus * Experience developing creative and successful web/print solutions within an established brand identity system
