General Qualifications: 
    
   Having a desire to learn and being self-motivated are the most important qualifications for this position.

   Must be available to work 2019-2020 academic year. Summer availability is optional.*
   Self-motivated and attentive to detail 
   Interest in or a general knowledge of the Mills International Center 
   Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with individuals and groups from different backgrounds 
   Ability to respectfully engage in and contribute to an environment in which diverse viewpoints and experiences are encouraged and valued. 
    
   Responsibilities: 
    
   Designs poster, flyers and social media graphics for Mills’ programs such as International Education Week, Chill in the Mills, Game Nights and more 
   Design related materials (table tents, thank you cards, announcements, t-shirts, etc.) 
   Work closely with the Mills Creative Team and Program Managers to ensure promotional content comes out on a consistent timeline 
   Adhere to UO Branding Guidelines and makes edits if necessary 
    

Experience Required/Preferred (leave blank if included in position description above) 
    
   Additional Qualifications: 
    
   Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator 
   Knowledge of advertising and marketing and a desire to go into a professional creative field after graduation are a plus.
