Reporting to the Associate Director, the Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the daily functioning of the Welcome Center, including overseeing student staff and tour training, using in place data systems for staff, and managing all tour schedules. The manager will oversee the work of 15-25 students each semester. In addition to working directly for the Associate Director, this position will require working with other parts of the Public Affairs and Communications team, Admissions Office, student groups, and external school group visits. The Customer Service Manager works independently to oversee certain functions during peak periods. Functions include; tracking digital analytics, processing financial transactions, invoices, and working with the digital team to update existing web calendar and website as needed. The Manager is also responsible for providing weekly, monthly and year end reports to the Associate Director pertaining to the operational and daily activities of the center. Ability to work with a diverse population of University visitors in person, by telephone and via email.
