Marketing Coordinator

Our growing Portland company is currently seeking a prolific and talented content creator to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and provide content strategy direction for the entire company and its suite of branded products.

Candidates will develop and sustain the company's voice across all content channels – digital, PR, advertising – and at industry events. The candidate will play an integral role in public relations, social media communications, corporate communications, thought leader engagement, and marketing strategy. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills to support lead generation and nurturing with customer conversion as the ultimate goal.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned channels (including blog posts, videos, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).- Conceive, write and deliver compelling, keyword-rich, actionable content for a range of channels – digital, print, PR, and at industry events – targeted to doctors and patients in the eye care pharmaceutical and medical device space.- Through content creation, attract site traffic and work with Sales to convert that traffic into new leads for the business, closing the customer conversion loop.- Develop, execute, and measure the company’s social media strategy, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.- Act as Paragon’s brand ambassador for all current and potential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) by organizing and attending all advisory board meetings and addressing KOL requests and inquiries related to product information and commercial sales.- Track and manage KOL input that may be used in Paragon marketing collateral, including but not limited to videos, interviews, quotes, and endorsements.- Plan and execute regular social promotions (including advertisements and boosted/sponsored posts) and campaigns; define and track the success of said campaigns.- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to outreach and relationship management.- Department administrative duties as necessary.

Minimum Education & Experience:- Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, public relations or communications; Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Journalism, Integrated Marketing, English, Advertising or Public Relations preferred.- Strong writing skills, including proofreading and editing experience and the ability to write prolifically and appropriately for designated audiences.- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.- Strong understanding and demonstrated use of marketing tools such as marketing automation, inbound marketing (HubSpot inbound certification preferred), CRM software, content management systems, surveys, email marketing, and advertising.- Health care, pharmaceutical, biotech, or research industry experience preferred.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint.
