Role Overview

As a part of the marketing team your primary responsibility will be communicating to the world what we do at Western Shelter and CrewBoss. We constantly receive testimonials and reports from the field about how well our products have performed, and the difference that we have made in people's lives. It will be your job to tell those stories through written content, images, and video, as well as present them to our customers through websites, email campaigns, social media, trade show displays and other channels. Additionally, you will take part in the growth of both businesses through product launches and the development of new markets. 


  • 4-year college degree in marketing, journalism, similar field, or comparable experience that can be clearly demonstrated
  • 2+ years relevant product marketing experience
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated excellence in writing clear, concise, and well-organized marketing tools
  • Proficient with mainstream desktop applications and internet platforms
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions


  • Write compelling copy with a branded voice for blog posts, advertisements, brochures, product sheets, social media, and catalogs
  • Become familiar with the company’s product offerings and markets that it serves
  • Manage email marketing campaigns
  • Update Websites (experience with HTML/CSS is preferred)
  • Publish social media content to support overall strategy
  • Manage SEO for both Western Shelter and CrewBoss websites
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to develop product launch marketing plans and collateral
  • Manage digital and print advertising campaigns
  • Participate and assist in planning trade shows
