Description:Looking to grow your marketing/communications/public relations skills? Tired of internships where you're just a cog in a wheel doing data entry all day long? Want to be part of something fresh and actually make a difference?
Here's your chance to be part of the small, close-knit team at Bridge Communications, a boutique communications agency that brings together the traditionally separate fields of marketing, communications and public relations, public affairs, and government affairs. Gain valuable insight as you work directly with the CEO/owner and collaborate with other great communicators at this exciting start-up. Bridget Saladino, founder of Bridge Communications, brings more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
This is a unique opportunity to play a part in most aspects of the company. Flexible working hours (10-25 depending on your availability) and class credit may be provided through your University. The experience you'll gain is worth more than the minimum wage you might earn at a big firm downtown. The ideal candidate will be fun, positive, hard-working, smart, creative, flexible, interesting, curious, and resourceful. The successful intern will receive a strong letter of recommendation, a few free meals, a friend, advocate, and mentor for years to come (if you so desire), and a serious leg-up on the competition. Finally, in a perfect world, the intern would help drive business such that a longer-term, paid offer of employment could be extended. Commissions paid on new business.
