It is a great way to get started or to advance your career in high-tech PR. This is a paid position and compensation will be based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities: • Preparation of complete and accurate and media and analyst briefing documents. • Ownership of research, updating, potential pitching and management of the following documents for his/her accounts. This includes ongoing updates of all of these items to ensure clients are included in any appropriate opportunities, including: editorial calendars, speaking opportunities and awards. • Provide general account support to account teams (research, reports, emails, etc.) • Maintain and update infrastructure list database. Ensure the infrastructure list always reflects the latest data. • Respond to ad hoc client requests, shared by supervisor. • Distribute press releases (Business Wire, Marketwired and customized email lists). • Arrange conference calls and meetings as needed. • Maintain KC library of publications and periodically trash old pubs. • Be able to maintain social media accounts for clients and KC. This includes the research and formatting of industry articles and targeted content. • Read trade publications for clips and related client business. • Flag relevant HARO opportunities for supervisor on appropriate client accounts. • Provide research support for new business, press/analyst and client purposes. • Assist in KC marketing efforts including dashboard maintenance, newsletters, etc. • Assist in client reporting and time tracking. • Administrative tasks such as keeping the office clean and organized, copying, filing, food and supply ordering, etc. • Assist in planning company events and outings. Skill Set: • Work efficiently on multiple tasks; effectively serve multiple account teams. • Accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to effectively research using the Internet. • Take initiative to offer ideas and successfully see tasks through to completion. • Take responsibility for projects to successful conclusion. • Solid understanding of all clients and the media and analyst organizations we are pitching them to. • Computer skills (MS Office products, Cision). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Social media knowledge and experience. • Ability to effectively manage time, resources and abide by budget standards presented by KC management. • Enthusiasm about working at KC and tech PR. Experience: • At least one year of PR/marketing experience or internship (preferably in high tech) • At least a four year degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in English, Communications or Public Relations.
