AccessaMED is an assistive technology company in the Portland metro area. We are expanding our PR, social media and marketing efforts and are adding an Intern to our growing company. We’re looking for the right person who is driven, focused and passionate about PR. Responsibilities include: 1. Assist in the creation of the full communications plan, including media outreach, social media, blog, newsletters, etc. 2. Assist in the implementation of the communications plan, including ownership of social media and blog. 3. Assist in media outreach, including media pitches and media research. 4. Assist with the sales and marketing team in the creation and implementation of collateral, newsletter, media pitches, blog posts and social media postings. 5. Communicate PR progress to the company through weekly calls and summarized reports. This position is part-time, primarily remote work. Must be able to meet virtually once a week (phone or online). Hours are negotiable. While this is unpaid, it may qualify for college credit.
Skills and Qualifications 1. Interest and enthusiasm for public relations! 2. Experience in social media platforms. 3. Experience in writing blog posts and media pitches. 4. Experience in media research. 5. Strong time management skills
