Description: The Clackamas Review and Oregon City News are immediately accepting applications for interns. The successful applicant would get newsroom experience and clips that could launch a career in professional journalism or public relations. Included in an intern’s duties could be creating community calendar entries, copy editing, transcribing police reports, attending city council meetings and turning press releases into stories.
Qualifications: Some journalism experience and a passion to expand skills. The ideal candidate would be willing to work one day or evening a week through this spring and expand duties during the summer to eventually write front-page-worthy material.
A willingness to take photographs while reporting is a plus. Those interested should send their resume and three clips to email@example.com.
