Seattle Refined, in Seattle, Washington, is looking for a talented still photographer interested in digital storytelling. We’re an online magazine and television show that was launched by KOMO TV in 2014, and focuses on what makes our region special. Featuring topics that include Eat & Drink, Lifestyle and Travel, we’re excited to show Pacific North Westerners everything our region has to offer!

We want someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories online and help create new ways of delivering live online event coverage. The bulk of these stories will live on SeattleRefined.com and KOMONews.com. You must be a creative visual storyteller who can wear many hats. The ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible with scheduling and show great initiative. Knowledge of local events is a plus. Our staff prides itself on personal integrity, creativity, teamwork, accountability and winning. Every day will be different; whether it’s covering a concert, profiling the menu of a new restaurant, joining our TV team on an out-of-town shoot, or shooting inside luxury real estate homes. You would work hand in hand with the web editorial staff to research and create great stories that aren’t necessarily timely events, but evergreen features as well. You should be a self-starter who, if there are a couple hours of the day that you’re not booked, can go and find a story in the city to create yourself.
