Description:Established creative Portland agency recruiting for a contract Community Manager who will be responsible for engaging current and new potential fans through multiple social media channels for the duration of a 3-month campaign for one of Portland’s iconic brands. Continued work or permanent hire possible after this duration.
Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for brands. •
Experience with promoting, tracking content and reporting on performance. Attention to detail, be a quick learner and have the ability to think on their feet.•
Experience using Google docs, spreadsheets and Photoshop.
Content Creation – writing material for social media channels.•
Social Media Marketing – creating, managing, and growing an online community.•
Customer Relations – answering questions and engaging with fans.•
Communications/Marketing Strategy – creating and/or executing a strategy.•
Analytics – Understanding KPI’s in each network.•
Social Media Monitoring Services – Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar services.

How To Get Our Attention:•
Experience executing strategy, content and campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.•
1-2 years in community management, marketing or PR. Agency experience preferred.•
Strong written and verbal communication skills.•
Lead the content creation process from development, to publishing and optimization, working with content calendars.•
Post, monitor and moderate within predetermined guidelines and guardrails while effectively creating and managing a persona for the brand.•
Manage interactions between followers and brands.•
Use data and social listening to proactively seek out opportunities to grow the brand’s presence, identity and engagement on social.•
Create interesting, engaging and sharable content.•
Monitor trends in social media.
