Social Media Coordinator

Position Overview: The Social Media Coordinator will contribute to building and maintaining a brand identity, ultimately driving online visitors to all BRM purchasing channels. The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Social Media Manager and work closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Director to create brand awareness, cultivating relationships between customers and the company. This person is also responsible for managing content communicated through social media outlets.

Essential Job Functions:

Create and share content on social media outlets, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and SnapChat.

Analyze performance metrics to increase productivity of posts.

Leverage the company’s success and brand strength to gain new customers and new level of awareness and success.

Stay current and forward thinking on new social media tools and platforms, best practices and use within the competitive landscape.

Proactively listen and engage with brand communities to optimize content and identify any opportunities.

Contribute to maintaining the brand voice and vision throughout all conversations.

Manage marketing efforts across social media platforms.

Work with marketing and other departments to develop brand message.

Working closely with influencers to ensure projects are completed on time.

Write blog posts for use on

Email and phone response to the many inquiries we get about collaboration, sample requests, etc.

Answering customer questions and connecting customers with customer service.

Using scheduling tools to manage content flow.

Use analytic software to measure success of campaigns and content.

Support email marketing.

Some travel required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

None. This position will report to the Social Media Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel and Word

Familiar with Google Docs, Sheets, Drive

Expert with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snap Chat

Familiarity with business accounts software and other business tracking software

Comfortable using an iPhone or similar technology for communication and content creation

Comfortable using WordPress

Familiar with PicMonkey or equivalent photo editing experience.

Basic understanding of Google Analytics

Basic understanding of email editing software


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field

2-3 years experience working in a marketing environment

Skilled in the language of social media influencers
