Are you ready for an account executive or senior account executive position on the CMD-Portland team? You might be, if you possess the rare ability to look at programs and projects from a client’s perspective just as clearly as you can see them from the agency’s point of view. If you join us, you will be responsible for the day-to-day details that keep an account on strategy, on time and within budget.  Are you a detail-oriented person who excels when the game is on the line? If you’re a marketing veteran whose experience includes high tech or financial products, and you enjoy hitting the road for in-person engagements, we may have the job for you.  You’ll need a great personality, strong opinions, knowledge of B2B and curiosity.  


Maintains general knowledge of assigned clients’ business

Is a valuable and essential team member and client partner 

Opens new projects, writes project/creative briefs and conference reports, sets up and participates in internal and client meetings

Receives, aggregates and organizes client assets and source materials

Collaborates with assigned teams from program/project initiation through completion to ensure all work meets and exceeds clients’ expectations profitably within budget

Oversees project-based client communication; serves as the liaison between client and agency team; professionally mitigates and/or resolves team conflicts through direct and timely communication, escalating when appropriate 

Performs account administration such as creative briefs, conference reports, budget management and invoicing, and other reports that show progress to key stakeholders 

Initiates change orders in partnership with producer

Understands complete range of CMD service offerings; stays current with CMD capabilities presentation, website content, relevant case studies, proposals and pitches across all client brands 

Maintains a high degree of professionalism, courtesy and honest

Understands and adheres to CMD policies and procedures 

Miscellaneous tasks as necessary
